53. False: All Australians are descended from convicts
Whereas Britain did ship greater than 160,000 convicts to its colony in Australia between 1788 and 1868, there are many different residents who usually are not descended from these women and men, at first all of the indigenous people who stay on the continent.
Nowadays, about 1/Four of Australians had been born abroad anyway, so the stereotype simply doesn’t maintain up.
