Claudia Cardinale won the “Most Beautiful Italian Girl in Tunisia” prize and got to go to Italy as the prize. She did not know Italian well but still snagged acting and modeling gigs. They had to dub over her voice because she had a raspy voice and a French accent. She became a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador as well!
