That is regarded as the final image of John Lennon, shortly after this image was taken Lennon was shot within the doorway of his New York Metropolis dwelling. A number of the remarks that Lennon made relating to his band and faith infuriated his attacker to the purpose that he determined to kill Lennon on the night of the eighth of December 1980. Curiously, the attacker waited on the scene of the crime for the police to arrest him.
